Whenever I travel I purchase "memory art" to extend the experience for years to come and infuse my days with the feelings those places generated. Other times I extend the trip before I take it by buying art of places I want to go--places that fill my dreams and motivate me. It helps build anticipation. These galleries arrange the photographic images by location to make it easier for you to find the places that move your spirit
When you select the photographs you want in your home or office, also select the size that will fit the space you have in mind. This can be tricky to imagine so the "wall preview" function will help you find the perfect size for your setting. You can select the type of room and change the size of the image to see it in perfect proportion to typical furnishings, and find the size that fits your space best. Also, think about the type of media that will best suit your room and the image. Bright, colorful images look great on any print media and are especially brilliant and eye-catching on acrylic or metal. Warm, soft images look best on canvas or a fine art paper. Acrylic does not need a frame. Canvas gallery wraps also do not need a frame, but a floater frame can add extra drama and depth. the same is true for metal. Fine art paper must be framed and the options for mats and frames are endless and can add a beauty of their own. If you need more information to decide, call me at (502) 603-2888.
