Yoho National Park is in British Columbia, Canada on the western slope of the Continental Divide. Yoho is a Cree expression of wonder or awe, and as with all of the Canadian Rockies, the name fits. Yoho is 1,313 square km (507 square miles) and is one of four contiguous parks in the Canadian Rockies along with Kootenay, also in British Columbia, and Banff and Jasper in Alberta. Yoho and the Canadian Glacier National Park were created in the same day as the second and third Canadian National Parks. Banff was the first.
